Sorry, if this has been answered, I couldn't see it anywhere.
Are Emirates offering reroute with other carriers at all or just refund/date change? I have a LGW-BKK in F coming up this weekend so just trying to plan ahead. TIA |

Any idea why no flights to USA? I have 5 Mar early AM flight to IAD which still shows as scheduled. Fingers crossed.

I suspect they will rotate the locations day-by-day to get everyone a fair chance, though. |

I'm looking for a backup option for QR redemption (that QR are notoriously bad for rerouting) and EK cash fare comes most competitive and they seem to be better for rerouting than God-awful QR. What's the consensus on refund fee waiver for a flight that I book now for departure before 10th March - is it waived or is it per fare rules ($$$)?

Are these flights each being escorted by fighter jets, or are they taking the approach that if they just fly to the south then it will be out of harm's way?

If your flight has been cancelled or you choose not to travel on a flight currently booked on or before Tuesday 10 March, you can request a refund without any fees. If your trip includes multiple legs, you can request a refund without any fees for any unused part of the journey – i.e. onward travel via Dubai. |

The official line on refund waivers is as follows, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get a refund:
Keep in mind refunds are taking longer than normal, so you are potentially providing an interest-free loan to them. |
Desperate to get back over to the UAE. Rebooked from 2nd Glasgow to Dubai to tomorrow.
flight says scheduled but today’s is cancelled. If they cancel tomorrows flight later on today I’ll get on to them and see if I can get a flight from another UK airport back to the UAE. |
