I have an India → DXB → BOS booking for the end of the month. I asked them for rebooking on an alternate airline for the same dates. The response was a stock - "we plan to operate this flight, check back in closer to travel date"
The schedule doesn't show any active flights to BOS yet. I'll HUCA in a few days on the Whatsapp chat to see if they have any options on other airlines. FWIW its a J booking. Sharing a data point if it helps anyone out there. |

The website does not seem to have full availability that call centre agents see -- I was trying to book a flight DXB-MXP in the next week, and EF showed availability in economy: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...14137a6f24.png But, the website did not: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b0ea76a32a.png Speaking on the whatsapp chat, they were able to book me onto this flight in Eco, therefore some seats are being held back from web interface. If you are dead set on flying on a specific route / day, have a check with the call centre. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ca47d0c7a4.png |

that certainly does not apply imho to the US; their response has involved copying and pasting an email day after day telling us that Trump cares nothing more than for our safety, and then telling us we are on our own. Pathetic.

The Emirates Disruption Handling Policy further below allows free re-booking and re-routing options for EK operated flight passengers traveling up to 31st March 2026 who may rebook their travel anytime up to 30th April 2026 to destinations within the same region and in any RBD within the same compartment. |

It may help greatly if you include the date you booked the tickets and the date of at least the WAW-DXB segment.

Early May. I realize it is far out, but, realistically, things are going to get a lot worse in the region before they get better, and I don't have a desire putting my life out there...

Los Angeles
Please correct me if I’m wrong. The flight from Dubai to Los Angeles is now showing on the 15th of March, which is this Sunday. This is available to book on the website.
After speaking to the gold desk she said to me that the flights are not showing in her system. Does anyone know if this is flying? It’s showing available for the 15th of March daily. |

Whether or not this sticks, I don’t know. |
EY and EK Stuck in Holding Patterns for 75 Minutes
I don't normally post in this forum as I'm from the dark side (EY frequent flyer ;)), but I thought it would be useful to copy my post in here as it's also relevant to you guys:
Both EY and EK planes were kept in a holding patterns for around 75 minutes, Tuesday 10th March from around 03:30 to around 04:45 UK time (07:30 to 08:45 UAE time). Please see screenshots below. I managed to grab these while I was on an international phone call. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c4b5afbef8.png EY Holding Pattern https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...63837ee5e4.png EK Holding Pattern https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f1d1b73788.png Both Airlines Given Clearance to Land I'm not sure what was going on but something must have been happening on the ground. I've not had chance to research further. Probably a bit stressful for the passengers. I imagine the planes are carrying more spare fuel than usual at the moment. Mike |

Those of us on the ground seem to see a bit of a correlation -- if planes start holding (like this morning in AD, or yesterday morning + evening in UAE time), we get a missile alert on our phones about 3 - 5 minutes afterwards, so I suspect with anything incoming all planes will temporarily hold in Oman. The good news is that usually there are "safe" alerts 15 - 60 minutes after the initial warning, and planes also start (re-)entering the airspace. I agree that inbound planes definitely need to calculate a bit more fuel than necessary!

Case in point, many planes have turned back despite being near landing:
