Any update so far? Can anyone confirm whether EK is flying new planes from ORD-DXB?

Occasionally, but not regularly or anything. There's a rare lucky flight from what I'm aware

Debating between EK and QR to HYD this November. We will be flying economy, so either ORD-DXB-HYD or ORD-DOH-HYD. We flew Emirates in 2016, it was a good experience, so just trying to figure out if EK or QR might have an edge in economy. Thanks for the advice!

They are definitely flying newer planes to ORD with the new J product but not the newest with new F product. A big step up from the ECx airframes that used to ply the route. Someone did post somewhere that their ORD flight is showing as a 6F airframe but probably that's a one off

Is there a source where one can lookup EK aircraft assignment for the next few days?

Have an F seat AS award for DFW-DXB on 8/29, and having looked at the recent aircrafts that have serviced the route, the new F planes have come to the Big D quite a few times starting July.

You can use FlightRadar 24 to see the registration once the outbound (from DXB, EK221) flight leaves, otherwise I don't know of a public source.
Good luck!

Thanks - that's the only way I've been keeping an eye on it, was just keen to know if there were any other sources one could use.

ISTR it being reported on here that EK don’t usually publish aircraft ex-DXB internally until close to departure time. It is only once EK publish that information that other online sources will get the info.

Slightly OT but thought this would be the best place to check. How long does it take to exit STN once you land on EK F. There is a train at 1425 and the flight lands at 1330. Is that too little time? I was out within 25mins at LGW on EK a couple of weeks back. How is STN?

Thats enough time, your bags go on a separate belt to Y, so watch out for that.
