For airline pyjama enthusiasts, changing before boarding is clearly the only way to go :D

Rumour has it that a J passenger who was refused PJ's  decided to immortalise his displeasure in the shape of a theatrical production ....... http://www.dresscircle.com/rare-post...107056776.html |
Emirates Amenity Bag
I have recently completed a flight from LHR to HKG via Dubai. The LHR to DXB left at at 13:35 and the flight from DXB to HKG left at 03:20 - both were on an A380 in business class
We were only given an amenity bag on the DXB to HKG leg since this was a night flight. Evidently amenity bags are not given on day flights. Can anyone explain the thinking behind this ? Just curious |

Since September, they are not all the same, which adds excitement () . I understand that EK first-time flyers may be disappointed if they didn't know the "rule". On F day-flights, it is "on request" basis. |
As eternaltransit says : Simples. All comes down to dollars & cents in the end.
Like so much else in this world ...... :o |
As Meja sang it "It's all about the money, dum dum didudumdum"

Recently on DXB-MAN daylight flight in F and asked for and got amenity kit and PJs.
Loved the little EK hessian bag they also provided for the kit. Yes the kit does vary on different flights - which makes for some variety. |

Didn't realise you could take the bag with you!!!!! I agree - they are great and would make super beach bags!
I prefer when they bring them on a silver plate, the same one used to distribute DomPe glass. It gives far more importance to the PJ :D:D:D Did you notice that the bags smell mold ? Isn't it because they are stored in some humid place ? Anyway, the smell disappears once you leave the bag in the open long enough. |
Now drop the feigned interest in amenity kits & associated stuff ioto :D
I know you lost your enthusiasm/excitement re such things long ago (much like myself, TBH.....!) |

Busted indeed !
(oh and I meant to add that you're going to get a lot of EK newbies edgy, with your reference to bags being stored in "some humid place ...") |
Are amenity kits available in First Class (if requested?) even on shorter sectors, for example DXB-DEL? Thanks.
