Its the same as the F kit just not as nice a bag...

Perhaps the F kit should have something extra? Not sure what to be honest they just fill up my wardrobe!

There's already body lotion in the packs...however I'm not a connoisseur of lotions so am unsure whether this would be acceptable for use on hands...

I am well aware of the body lotion but I thought it would come very handy if you have extra lotion only for your very dry hands..

If only there is a way to substitute the hand lotion for superglue in one particular amenity kit... might stop the typing, even just for a while. Which would be most welcome.

On topic, I think EK J amenity kits are one of the nicer ones out there. Got a shock on LX recently when the pouch was a tiny nylon drawstring pouch - I thought I got the Y kit by accident, but alas, no :o

I can't agree. The world would be so boring.

Might be a daft question but flying in J on Virgin a couple of times on a night flight Ive been given PJ's. Nothing similar on Emirates?

Pyjamas for F class only on overnight flights (or ULH) on EK. You are welcome to bring your own though of course!

And where would you change clothes ? Certainly not in Y/J toilets ...

I usually have a previous leg of QF so wear their J ones, always get a smile from the crew. Very easy to change especially if you know which is the disabled (larger) toilet.

AKOD threads always bring a wry smile for me

And as for PJ's .....have often wondered why it is that so many folk who feel they're so important don't simply pack their own .....

Do we actually expect PJ's to be handed out when staying at hotels, on an overnight train journey, or when visiting friends ??

Mind you, I guess the sort of night attire that many people usually wear - or perhaps don't wear as the case may be  - might not be entirely appropriate for use on a commercial aircraft.........

While the new F kits look like a step up from the old, can't say the same about the J kits.

Great - so that overnight flight should have it.

For airline pyjama enthusiasts, changing before boarding is clearly the only way to go :D
