So the wash bag and Pyjamas are only on flights 7 hours and more, correct? So, I assume the JNB flights will have provision for both the wash bag and pyjamas in F?

Wash bags and pyjamas in flights 7 plus hours only, correct?

So, I assume the JNB flights from Dubai will have them onboard?

There used to also be a rule about night flights only, which might rule out a couple of the DXB-JNB flights.

Can confirm that I got the amenity kit last week on EK 20 MAN DXB 2115-0725

and

EK 11 DXB LGW 0245-0720

Last week

I always get a kit on CPT - DXB vv. Technically a day fight (at least the 13:30 departure from CPT), so my assumption is that all JNB flights will be OK.

arrives midnight into DXB. And the 9am departure from JNB arrives 7:30pm in DXB so that flight migh not get the amentiy kit. in fact I don't think I got one in April.

Thanks and I assume no amenity kit in J on the DXB-JFK flight either because it is a day flight, correct?

Better to know so that way I can toss in one of the Lufthansa kits in my carry on. ;)

What's the cutoff between LH and ULH? Would CPT then be 'just' inside ULH?

I have found it somewhat hit and miss on the 1330 from CPT. In fact, more often than not, I have not had either kit or PJs on this flight (F). However, I always get them on the 1800 departure. And Murphys Law states that when I remember to take PJs with me, then they hand them out! And when I don't, then there aren't any!!!!!

CPT is under 10 hours, so well below the 12 hour ULH definition given.

So I should get an amenity kit on DXB-JFK flight? It is 13+ hours day flight.

I think you get the kit as standard on EK771 but not EK773. Obviously if things are loaded then you might be in luck!

Yes, you should.
