Has anyone ever manage to buy a First Saver? I know Emirates only advertise First Flex and First Flex Plus, but I recently bought a First Saver from KUL-MAN on 14/4/15. I bought the tickets on 17/3/15 as well. But since then I've not seen the booking class again on the website.

I guess first saver is a companion A class fare or a special promo fare in A. The normal A class fare should always be a flex.
However it looks for me like a little mess. Before it was pretty clear I and higher was flex (i.e. for Business). Now sometimes I is a saver or a flex, C is sometimes a flex or a flex plus, depends always from the o/d (and those are not booking classes for promotional fares. I can understand that a O class is sometimes a special/saver fare as they are diff promos running under O class).
The only indicator is the farebase for the level and no longer the booking class.

I guess now we know why they put Saver/Flex/Flex Plus in the endorsements field!

Honestly never seen I saver fares before the change, but A saver/flex indeed. Just not really helpful as you now cannot longer just take the booking class (normally (in 95/100) W was a flex fare i.e. And C/J was for sure a flex (now C is flex plus or flex). Whatever I'll stick to the farebase haha

Wow!!
I Travel on F to BKK twice a year from London and usually pay around 3000, just tried to book for August and I'm being quoted 4400 - Thats a near 50% increase. Am I just booking it at the wrong time with revised fares coming out soon or is this going to be EK cheapest F fare going forward?

For August - what with UK school holidays etc. - I would suspect it is unlikely fares will go down from there.
