Isn't 354/355 already a 77L since the summer timetable eightblack?

354/355 has been running with B77L since the start of the summer timetable.

I must have got it wrong then as I always thought that this service had the old J and F seating...

EK354/355 was switched to 77L effective 25MAR.

Only exceptions were EK354 27/30MAR and EK355 28/31MAR where economy class loads were already too high to accommodate the switch. All flights from 1APR onwards UFN scheduled with 77L.

Actually, they will delivery on Apr 5 but, not this week.

Emirates Plans Final A340-300 Service on 28FEB13

As per 29MAR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Emirates’ initial plan for final Airbus A340-300 flight is currently scheduled on 28FEB13, Venice – Dubai EK138. In Feb 2013, the remaining A340-300 routes include Venice and Hyderabad. The airline introduced Airbus A340-300 aircraft to its scheduled operation on 10MAR04.

In 2011 EK carried 960,969 pax to Italy :

FCO : 411,017 pax (2 daily)
MXP : 370,896 pax (2 daily)
VCE : 179,056 pax (1 daily)


And this year EK is introducing 1 more daily flight to each destination.

I am glad to see that Emirates are now going to fly into Portugal from July onwards. The only problem seems to be is the business class fare is 2700 euros to BKK compared with 1860 euros from Rome? Don't make any sense especially has 380 goes from Rome and the small 700-200 goes from LIS. Any ideas?

Your question is offtopic but I will answer it quickly. Airline pricing does not only dependent on aircraft size or distance but also (and more importantly) on demand and supply on that route. If there are fewer and more unattractive alternative ways to fly from LIS to BKK, that route becomes more expensive. Also, the fact that there are fewer business seats on a 772 could result in higher pricing because you are looking at the more expensive fares since the cheaper ones have been taken.
