I'd like to see this, too. CEB is a great place and its "efficiency" in its international wing makes it a wonderful alternative to the crap you have to go through in NAIA in MNL.

thank you @blackmamba,

yeah! I really hope EK will fly to CEB, well probably not now but say, 2 years from now. and its true, most travelers prefer CEB over MNL because its actually a breeze going through the airport premises, its more efficient, decent and clean, less hassle and immigration queues are not as frantic as MNL. International airlines serving CEB are mostly Korean carriers like KE, OZ, BX, 7C and LJ, the remaining ones are CX, TR and MI. QR is the only middle eastern carrier in CEB until it will cease operations this Saturday.

In addition to my previous post regarding the delivery of A6-EGO (the 1000th B777). She's operating UAE432/433 (DXB-SIN-BNE-SIN-DXB) today (23/03/2012).

I agree although the cleanliness thing isn't really there (I'm comparing it will the NAIA Terminal 3 as opposed to Terminal 1). Korean carriers fly there out of necessity. Those flights are booked full to the brim. CEB is so packed with Koreans now that any random Korean I meet in the world seems to know someone who has either been to Cebu or is currently living there (true story).

In terms of efficiency, CEB's international terminal is a ghost town. I think it has 2 gates or something right?

actually there are 4 boarding bridges and another 2 being constructed, could probably be done later this year. and hopefully, government is now prioritizing the construction of another passenger terminal for its international passengers just right beside the current terminal.

Thanks; do you know if A6-EGO is Y304 (with crewbunkers) or Y310 (no crewbunkers) ??

Thanks; I just asked because a good friend of mine who lives in GRU can`t wait to take a pic of this special aircraft (777 nr.1000), but since she has no crewbunkers, no chance to see her in GRU......:(

I think Edinburgh's more likely for now; but if EK goes really crazy in Britain, then in a couple of years its possible.
I am a bit skeptic about EK going for more destinations in Britain because establishing themselves more at Glasgow/Dublin in my opinion may cancel out Edinburgh/Belfast. Then Cardiff is a small market; most of the city finds it much easier to go for LHR.
But as I said earlier, if they think they've got enough demand; Edinburgh's next.

Just spotted it at DXB as I was boarding the dreaded 332. Took a snap with my mobile from the aerobridge, will post it when I get to a PC.

What about BRS?

Gateway to the South West? Would cover Cardiff, Swindon, Exeter, Plymouth and Cornwall.

Any chance we could keep this to confirmed routes rather than rumours and speculation? There's a separate thread just for that :)

When will Adelaide be announced, I just can't wait for it...:)

And please dear insiders, share a BIT more of your information, then everybody would be happy - even Emirates due to the "publicity" among flyertalkers. :D:p

I dont see Adelaide happening any time soon - and I definitely think you wont see a tag on from somewhere like MEL. Doesn't make sense commercially. But I know nothing...;)

On a side note, a little bird told me recently that SIN is going to get a newer bird to replace the old fitted out clunker thats running the 355/354 (the 4th DXB flight). Too many rich oil and bank clients were waving their arms at the old seats...happens next month (apparently)
