Thumbs down worst experience - high expectations

I travelled from London to Dubai ok EK-512. This was my first experience on Emirates and truly disappointing. Starting from the rude and unpleasant checkin staff at Heathrow airport to a very bad customer service within the ar-plane I was not at alconvinced that this is a world class airline especially after travelling on more than 13 airlines till date. The quality of food as well was sub standard.
However i would like to mention that the custmoer service and food quality had impoved on the Dubai- Delhi sector.

so which airline do you think is worldclass. you've registered to post 1 negative comment about EK, so do tell who you think is best. why do you think it wasn't a good flight, examples are usually good in cases like these.

EK 512 is a DXB - DEL flight, and does not fly to Heathrow. The OP then goes on to say that customer service has 'improved' on the DXB - DEL sector (which is probably the EK 512 he was referring to), when allegedly this is his first flight with EK.

@OP: You left out of Heathrow, what do you expect?! Friendly check-in staff?! If you were as well travelled as you imply you are you should have known what to expect from LHR and you would have gone from LGW instead.

What class were you flying in and what, precisely, were the issues and problems that you experienced?

You have to understand that we get a lot of people on these boards who register, post one derogatory remark about an airline and then never post again. If you come up with the specifics then Im sure youll enjoy a less frosty reception.

Regards,

JGX

Would the OP not have been better to go direct on Air India or BA or something in future if EK was that bad? Looks more like a rant worthy of skytrax than a forum piece but just my 2p.

I would assume that this was the second leg of the flight LHR-DXB-DEL and what he meant that the food on the second sector was an improvement on the first leg. I agree with the other contributors that this is a complaint with little in the way of specifics. Perhaps he is related to the OP from LAX whose wife had a broken leg, I mean toe, ouch!

Well, what a welcome!!

Not all people have English as their mother tongue.

Seems to me that some people have too much time (forum mafia??). If you can't post anything positive, don't post.

I don't think that this is true but I agree that a rationale trip report with pointing out exactly the things that went wrong, added by personal perceived benchmarks with other airlines, would be helpful.

Actually, given that the OP can spell 'disappointing', I'm sure he/she has no issues with English. It seems to be a case of several typographical errors. Which points to a lack of effort in trying to get one's point across. If you're going to post here, have the decency to read through what you've written to make sure it is coherent and to provide details so that people can help you. Otherwise, don't post.

Let's wait and see if he comes up with something constructive following our observations.

I think most people come on a forum for debate, discussion, to hear other points of view or seek advice etc. Inevitably not all posters will have the same views and will disagree at times. All are entitled to post their thoughts and this does not make their posts negative.
The OP did not have anything positive to say but he/she is fully entitled to give their opinion.
