"Deeply Reclining Comfort" on LHR Overnight??
Does anyone know what possessed Emirates to use an old B777 with "deeply reclining comfort" seats in J on the only overnight flight DXB-LHR?? Putting such an uncomfortable seat overnight on one of their flagship routes just makes no sense. Any idea on when that's going to be fixed in the schedule, so I don't have to use other airlines everytime I go to London?

Its funny that a lot of their European routes have old aircraft on the over night flights, and new ones with lie flat/ flat seats on the day flights.

EK003/004 upgrade to A380 effective 1 July 2010 now officially confirmed.

Expect announcement on MAN (EK017/018) upgrade to A380 soon.

Also EK019/020 is expected to upgrade to B777-300ER 3 class (with Suites in F, lie flat in J and new Weber in Y) in September 2010.

Am hearing that there won't be a significant number of extra flights for the World Cup in South Africa. Most likely we will see some aircraft upgrades for the duration of the tournament.

The LHR flights show up on emirates.com, nothing on the MAN fights later in the year yet.

I'm on the 020 and 017 in August but I do get a 380 to BKK
