Wow Emirates777, you're doing a pretty amazing job by keep feeding the "hungry dogs" with Emirates flight info! Keep up the good work!

I'm following the thread to see when CPH pops up on the schedule and I will be the first to book a return to AU/NZ... Know lot of Scandinavians wants to go there, and SE asia generally during winter, as it's dark more than 17 hours of the day "up here", and bitterly cold.... Brrrrrww.

Yeah youre right Rukor, its gonna be an exciting day. Flew to DXB last week on a full SK A330 and returned home on a full A340, so the market is definitely there. We where actually considering flying EK through Hamburg on F-class, but decided that it wasnt worth the hassle. However, as having had the pleasure of EK F-class, I do hope that they will bring a 3-class config. to CPH when they eventually starts up.

Effective 28 March 2010, there is a flight number change on EK791/792 DXB-LAD-DXB.

New flight number is:

BTW, how is the GRU-DXB flight doing?
Apparently GRU-DXB is doing very well. The news it that QR will start GRU-DOH from 30 May 2010. It would be interesting to see EK reaction to QR inroads in its GRU market.

That was a much needed change. ^ The confusion between 719 going the same direction same time and 791 was going to cause a problem one day.

@ emirates777...

a person from another Aviation forum is claiming that EK will operate 2x A380 into south africa during the world cup, with 1 x A380 heading to JNB and the other operating to DUR. and that 1 of these aircraft will be in a special "yellow-zebra print" livery to commemorate the WC in SA

Is there any truth in his statement?

Currently booked feb 18th hgk-dxb. Initially on seat booking showed B777-300er,
now showing B777-200/200er.
Services by flight shows B777-300er

Contacted emirates office, Y class has row 23 middle seats only.

Have they already started to introduce the B777-300er on the EK381 route already?

Not really an upgrade for the pax then, just an increase in capacity.

If this B777-300ER is the same as the ones I've flown DXB>MAN, then I prefer the A340-500.

It's a different configuration from the a/c used for MAN. First class has suites just like on A345, J class on B77W is lie flat beds compared to the cradle seats on the A345, and whole a/c is equipped with ICE digital widescreen (more channels & no IFE box under seats), which is an improved version of the A345 ICE system, so I guess so will pax enjoy the upgrade

Okay, now I get why it's an upgrade. Thanks for the lowdown euroxx ^
