Not sure where this 11% figure comes from - on the basis that we currently have 2 flights a day and will move to 3 a day there is a 10% increase in capacity, but there will only be 2 on a Friday, so the weekly numbers are these, I think:
Code:
Current B767 B777 Weekly A321 Weekly Gain/loss Percentage F 0 14 98 0 0 -98 -100% J 24 48 504 23 460 -44 -9% W 24 40 448 0 0 -448 -100% Y 144 127 1897 131 2620 723 38% Total 192 229 2947 154 3080 133 5% F/J/W 48 102 1050 23 460 -590 -56%

Haven't seen this posted here (though may have missed it) but unlike BA and LH, LX are not only maintaing the wide bodies on the TLV route but also switching to twice daily A330s from the winter schedule instead of the A330/A340 mix which will apparently increase capacity by 7%.

I wish Canada and Israel would re negotiate the bilateral already, it needs to become open skies.
YUL is seriously lacking.
3x p/week on a 767 or in the future a 787 could defiantly work.
Oh well. A man can dream.

Which A320/1's is BA going to be using to TLV?
If it's going to be the former BMI aircraft will they have a proper business class seat and not the BS european narrow body "business class"
And will Y class be decent? I'm a Star Alliance flier but I may book with BA for a winter trip.

Brussels airlines seem to have added a extra flight every Sunday morning operated by an A320.
This flight is currently shown untill the end of March.

SAS to increase flights
3 months after returning to the route, SAS are going to increase their twice weekly flights between TLV-CPH to 3 weekly as well as replace the A319 currently doing the route to an A321.
They will also adjust the schedule to better suit the Israeli business PAX, so flights will now go Sun,Tue, Thu and depart TLV at 15:20 instead of 19:00 allowing for better connections to the rest of Scandinavia.
