I believe I read in the AF/KL forum that AF has a subfleet of A319s with all-Y used for domestic and other very short routes (<2 hrs or so). I did not realize they ever used these aircraft for longer flights (4+ hrs). At least AF Y has reasonable legroom, unlike IB.

The original Olympic Airlines (OA) served TLV until September, 2009, when it ceased operations.
It's successor is Olympic Air, also OA. They have not yet served TLV.

The Greek authorities or the EU (don't remember) blocked the merger due to Anti-Trust policies.

(Greece has now bigger things to worry about

Booking some award flights from TLV this summer, and I was offered flights via VIE on 'Niki'. I don't remember seeing this in the past - is it new? I think it's part of Air Berlin, and hence now part of One World - useful for redemptions, as there aren't many options otherwise.
Does anyone know the schedule and details?
