Duty Free at TLV is
Liquor prices were cheaper on the plane (EL AL) than they were at the shop.
I never buy on board because those prices are always higher than DF and local shops.

I'm late to this post, but it is a known fact... the TLV duty free operators are greedy, and you cannot get good pricing there on any product (some would say that the exception is cigarettes, but being a nonsmoker, I can't tell)

Camus Extraordinaire at ICN for USD 160 (20% sale discount and 5% Visa purchase discount); doubly good find as this cognac blend is no longer being made due to depletion of old cogacs available for blending, so once existing stock is gone it is no longer available at any price. A superb cognac that is equal to Paradis in quality (which sells for triple the price!) and quite a bit better than the XO's which are similarly priced.

You obviously need to get out and see more of the world. Do you have a passport made?

If anyone is flying through NYC or LAX and can see if there's a duty-free price for Louis XIII cognac from duty-free, I'd appreciate it!
Basically, I can order it wholesale for a friend at $2500 and want to know if that's a good price.
THX!
