I still tend to get my JWB in NRT or TPE; I haven't seen anything over the last few years in US, Europe, or Middle East that's comparable.

Just as a data point, I was through JFK last week and jotted down a few prices just for folks to use as a point of reference:

- JWBlue 750 mL for $142
- JWBlue 1L (with free 200mL bottle) for $189
- George V for $410
- Richard Henessey for $1650
- Louis XIII for $1950

thanks jy1024. so i guess the $150 was a pretty good deal. do you normally find it cheaper at nrt or tpe? i used to fly a lot of nwa that connected through nrt, but now i usually just fly into hkg. how much is JWB regularly at a liquor store? never looked at pricing other than at duty free.

The last few times I've been through both airports, it's varied - mostly due to exchange rate. ($-> yen is terrible right now!)

My route is usually TPE-NRT-USA. The first time I did that route, I did learn the hard way that you do pass through another security checkpoint at NRT. When I bought my duty-free JWB at TPE, it was confiscated at the checkpoint since it a liquid over 3 oz. (Thankfully, the NRT Admirals Club AAngels are phenomenal and found a way to rescue my bottle from the trash bin! ^)

Here in BOS, I see a pretty wide variance in JWB - as high as $250, as low as $170. (NH Liquor store is $170; I believe the Costco in Dedham and Waltham is also $170.)

Edit to add: Prices I mention are for a 750 mL bottle.

thanks JY! that's awesome that they were able to rescue your bottle for you. that could've been a costly trip! the pricing you quoted is for the usual 750ml or a 1L?

Yeah, they really saved the day. A security guard went to retrieve it from the checkpoint, one AAgent went into the back room to find a box and newspapers to make a safe box/package for the bottle, and another AAgent hand-wrote a luggage tag for my bottle and made sure it got on the plane in time. When I landed in ORD, my bottle was happily sitting on the luggage carousel!

Sorry I was unclear; the prices I listed were for a 750mL bottle.

Was in BOS today, looked like some decent prices on tequila.

Slightly less here than in SFO for Patron. 750ml $40/$47 for Silver/Anejo.

No Don Julio, but there was 750ml of Gila Reposado was marked down to $27.

SIN DFS

SIN DFS

JW Black - 1 L - 34 USD (45 SGD)
JW DB 1L - 41 USD (54 SGD)

There is a Buy 2 get 1 free offer on Black Label and Double Black.

When Checked Prices in Indian Airports (MAA), it seems to be on the same level or cheaper then SIN. Also Flemingo operated DFS have a pretty good collection of hard Liqueur. Wine is a hit or miss based on the location.

SGN - offsite DF shop at Le Loi and Pasteur streets. (District 1)

1L - Jameson 12 y.o. - $5 USD

I bought 2 and picked them up at the airport (at the Coach store) the morning of my flight out.

They look real, but i haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I've used the coupon a few times and it's a great deal, imo.

Wow - that IS a great deal! Are you shopping at CA Costcos? Is it still on-going now, or do you think it may just have been a holiday promo? I don't recall seeing anything like that in MA. (Though I think the state prohibits coupons for alcohol...or some weird thing like that. Silly Puritan laws still abound when it comes to alcohol.)

I just bought four bottles of JW DB at CDG 2E (packs of two) for Euro22 per litre. It was Euro34 a month ago. It did not show as a promotion but...
