Can our European friends start shipping more Green Chartreuse to the US. Asking for a friend that cant get it in our state and misses our Last Word cocktails.
Of course I meant their state and their last word since I was asking for a friend 😂

It's been chilly up here at the cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Mrs Willie & I enjoyed a Rusty Nail or two in the evening this past week,
We prefer a 2 parts blended scotch with 1 part Drambuie mix
Old Fashioneds are THE predominant cocktail in Wisconsin, usually made with Brandy (Wisconsinites drink a staggering % of the brandy compared to the rest of the US). Elsewhere most Old Fashioneds are made with bourbon (we prefer rye if going the bourbon route).
I don't think I've ever seen/heard scotch used in an Old Fashioned.
I was lucky when the shortage started and found bottles of green and yellow Chartruese at smaller independent liquor stores, the type of shops that mostly rely on beer and cheap booze sales to survive. They weren't aware of what they had and didn't mark up the price. I wasn't the only one, when I went back to stores that had numerous bottles of both sitting on their shelves, all of the stock had been purchased.
A favorite cocktail of ours with green Charturuese is the Last Word.
For yellow Chartruese we really enjoy Naked & Famous:

Hope I found the right place for this
Recommendation if in Birmingham (UK)
About 10 mins walk from the railway station.
Fox and Chance
2 for one - 2 Old Fashioned for 16 and all 4 were splendid (no cherry, but decent ice - I didn't think to ask for a cherry )

If you think it looks like a short measure I think this was taken to illustrate the ice, it may not have been the first one

The Four Pillars Distillery is 45 minutes from my house in Melbourne and they have a dangerously good value happy hour on Friday evenings during the winter: 50% off all gin cocktails!
I also go to the Four Pillars Laboratory whenever I'm in Sydney. It recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and I was lucky enough to catch the limited edition celebratory menu on the very last day it was offered:

I've never had the particular one in your photo. Hopefully they bring it back someday - the botanicals and notes sound so interesting.
In my home bar, I currently have their: Bloody Pinot Gin; Australian Gin; Green Apple & Rhubarb Gin; My New Go-To Gin (notes of quandong, yuzu, lime, lemon myrtle). I tend to pounce as soon as they release some kind of interesting limited edition.
