Craftsteak is closed in NYC now

We went to Mastro's last year in Scottsdale and it was excellent. Wolfgang's is probably the best in NYC now.

I'm planning a trip to SEA. What's the best there? I read one of the older posts mention Metropolitan Grille?

I highly recommend Metropolitan Grill. Easily my list of top 3 U.S. steakhouses. The Seattle version of El Gaucho is also supposed to be excellent.

Was my favorite for a long time, but now I am always going for Daniel Broiler on Lake Union.

Spark's (NYC) - Been there 12-15 times. Never been hurt.
Charlie Palmer's (DC) - Probably the best filet I've eaten.
Buckhead's (Richmond) - Solid meat. Finding the place is a bit difficult and don't let the location in a strip mall deter you. Fantastic meal.

I'd got to Daniel's in Seattle over the Met.
El Gaucho is very expensive.

Try Jak's too.

How does Mastro's in Scottsdale compare to the one in Beverly Hills? Same/Better/Worse. I quite like Mastro's in B.H. by the way. I will be in Scottsdale for a couple of days next month, and need a nice place to take my Dad.

I can't tell you how it compares. However, I can tell you that I always take my Dad and he's a New York 5-star restaurant snob and he likes it. Therefore, it must be pretty good
