Trader Joe’s chicken enchiladas sliced avocado leftover taqueria rice & beans tonight - in anticipation of tomorrow’s cross-country match: pasta Rao’s marinara and ks beef meatballs raw organic veggies |
Last night - sockeye salmon with a soy/mustard/garlic marinade. Couscous with pine nuts, green onion, feta. Sauteed chard with garlic. This is the best cooked salmon preparation I've tried, and (to my wife's relief) I would eat it that way again.
Tonight - shrimp in a tomato sauce (made with whatever I find), over parmesan polenta. Side salad. |

I've always liked salt too, but a couple of years ago my cardiologist insisted I cut back, which I did. After my lab results a few months ago came in, I was very low, and they advised more sodium in my diet..
I asked how often they ever suggested more sodium for their patients and they said "uhm, well.....almost never". After increasing the sodium, not only does my food taste better, but the nighttime leg cramps have gone away. |
