I wanted Culver's last night, but they were closed for an Employee Recognition dinner. Fortunately, my townhome association meeting tonight is next door to Culver's, so I will get my frozen custard fix before the meeting after all. Dinner is something fattening in a bar while watching the Cubs game.

This is pathetic. I prepared breakfast sausages and rice pilaf for my husband and (resident) sister.
I'm on NutriSystem, and had their pre-packaged beef & noodles. Palatable, but not delicious. Also had frozen mixed vegetables.

About to have an apple.

Tonight, either beef kebabs (again - froze a batch) and naan, or Thai takeout. Maybe a pot of lentils would be easiest/cheapest.

I had a New York steak, medium, and a baked potato. I was a bad boy that I didn't prepare a veggie. I will have 2 helpings tomorrow.

a sandwich from one of the dining halls on campus... red wrap, green peppers, smoked turkey, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettece, salt, pepper and layer of honey mustard...don't take home cooked food for granted!

Thank you for the past threads. I know this has been done before. Done and well done http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif

But this is a new day.

I think I'll make some type of chicken curry tonight as well.

I did. I made chicken braised in spiced yogurt sauce, and mushroom curry. It was quite good actually. I could eat Indian food every night.

Since my 10 YO daughter asked this of me last night...

Here is what I told her:

Spiced beef pate, rolled and encased in a fine vegetable wrap. Served with your choice of rolls.

Escallop pasta, lightly salted and with a touch of olive oil, surrounded by a multiple cheese paste, served warm.

Tomato puree, finely chopped onions, and Grey popoun as compliments.

She got: Mac and Cheese and Hotdogs
