Chinese sausage and rice (nothing fancy tonight)

Tri tip from Ikeda’s (auburn CA) - pre-marinated.
i used a “slow grill” recipe. New for me. I fired up the left side so that it was around 400. Then seared each side of the meat for 5 min. 15-ish minutes on the right side (zero flame) and 10 minutes of rest. I prefer rare to medium-rare and served medium rare to the family in very thin slices.
