wow that’s a very strong endorsement. You’ve grilled chicken breasts for 42 years and counting so I take your superlatives extremely seriously and with high validation. Their website fedexes them frozen and maybe I should get some at $15 a dozen. Which ones did you buy? It’s cheaper than goldbelly essa bagels.

Ok, that's a new one for me. Do you actually mean marshmallows as in "Mr. Staypuft" and the fluffy white stuff or do you mean something else? I don't see how they would work together, but maybe that's me?

Can't say that I have, but until now, I've never heard of it before. It sounds extremely sweet though. If opportunity presents itself, I might try it.

it is very, very common. Almost everyone has some form of sweet potato dish topped with marshmallows at Thanksgiving.

I wonder why I've never heard of this before... turkey, of course. cranberry sauce, yes. stuffing, always. Sweet potato often. But I don't think anyone has mentioned sweet potato w/ marshmallows to me before (maybe it's an american thing?) I wonder if it's popular here? I know I don't see it in TV commercials (or didn't when I had cable)

We have had sweet potatoes from pancakes, fries, mashed, baked, casseroles and pies but I have never had sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows. I grew up near sweet potato farms.

I live in San Francisco and never considered marshmallows with sweet potatoes until my spouse introduced it to me. It’s possible that I saw it at family holiday gatherings before meeting my spouse. I actually prefer sweet potato baked and then with some butter. What isn’t better with butter?

I first had it as sweet potato pie. Yum.

As heretical as it may sound, I find I much prefer crabs sans butter. Naked or maybe with a small sprinkle of salt... I enjoy the sweetness of the crab meat.

Marshmallows on sweet potatoes has been a thing since 1917. Do you people live in a cave? How do you not see this everywhere? Grocery stores even have marshmallows with all of their Thanksgiving stuff...big displays with cranberries, stuffing, pumpkin etc.

Not that I pay attention to marshmallows and maybe it's because we have our Thanksgiving earlier than yours, but yeah, I think it's only a thing down there. I really don't recall seeing marshmallows in any Thanksgiving displays here (although to be fair, there are a few observances close togther for us in that timeframe).

But like I said, if I come across it, I'm willing to give it a shot (as weird as it sounds to me)
