I get my foie delivered from D'Artagnan - this is part of my stash of the frozen Duck Center Cut Medallions (flash frozen) both keep well in the freezer in single vac serving and make using foie pretty handy.

Yesterday, my sister treated my grandmother to a sumptuous dinner. We even sang karaoke.
I ate so much yesterday I am still full this morning.

Saturday: miso glazed sablefish with baked potato and Brussels sprouts, fresh pineapple on the side.

I found the sablefish too delicate to work with. Nice flavor, but it disintegrated on the grill. I’d have lost it all without a grill mat.

Where was the street party?
Glad to see you are done with salmon every night. I hope Mrs. BV's blood work came out excellent after that.

The party must have been in Mexico and I missed it. All I got was salad.

she got the results but refuses to look at them. And yes I am pleased to get a break from salmon.

that’s pretty funny.

I made her 4 identical meals yesterday for while I’m gone. Turkey, stuffing, gravy, Brussels sprouts and sweet potato. Cranberry sauce on the side. I should tell her it’s ostrich.

it’s a pretty full panel, not just cholesterol, and she wants her doctor to go over it with her.
