A local butcher shop closed a few months ago and I stocked up on their homemade bratwurst before then. I broiled their cheddar beer brats and put it atop some penne pasta this evening. Also had a side of cucumber (from my garden) and some avocado.

Dinner with stockmanjr, his mother, frantic and monitor this evening at Rosemary's in the East Village. The menu all sounded good, though I ended up ordering the linguine con gamberi (sautéed shrimp, white wine, leek confit calabrian chili, toasted garlic ) which was delicious. The meal was accompanied by fresh bread.
