There should also be a discussion of “worst breakfast ever” (although we should specify non-airline breakfasts, because those would always win). My nomination for that would be the German/Danish cheap hotel breakfast: dry bread, slices of bologna, slices of cheap oily cheese, and bad coffee (in fact, at one youth hostel I stayed at in Germany, they didn’t even have coffee at all, just hot chocolate!)

Don't make the mistake of thinking that the UK is one country... You'll find a potato scone in a cooked breakfast in Scotland (they're nothing like plain scones, just to confuse matters).

I vote for leftover ribs, eaten cold while standing in front of the fridge with the door open.

Medium rare grilled skirt steak, two eggs over easy, hash browns, toast. The key is the eggs. Yolks have to be runny but no "snot" on the whites.

My daily breakfast is Tillamook greek yogurt.

If if I am eating out, I prefer an omelette with toast and bacon.

Warm savory soy bean milk with fried dough sticks. Fuhang in Taipei makes a really good version but that line can get really long

Thai Rice Porridge

Spending time in Thailand we had great rice soups

One is thick like porridge normally with meat pieces or mince meat balls

The other is a wet soup with rice soup and meat

Oh yes

Hmm. That's starting to sound like something I can't afford with my mortgage.

in general just a smattering of cold or uncooked stuff. chunks of melon, cheeses and and ham. cup of yogurt and some olives. mehhhh
Actually, a Continental breakfast can be delicious. Love liver paté or liver sausage on quality bread with good butter and raw onions if possible. Also very fond of smoked kippers and other herring with boiled eggs and dill on an open sandwich.

Fresh or frozen wild berries with muesli/nuts in yoghurt, great! And to add the Jewish classic of a salmon & cream cheese bagel with red onion...

Other favorites include traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean breakfasts as well as the British fry-ups including black and white pudding and some offal when available. Also fond of Southern grits and bacon and other similar dishes.
