My nomination for that would be the German/Danish cheap hotel breakfast: dry bread, slices of bologna, slices of cheap oily cheese, and bad coffee (in fact, at one youth hostel I stayed at in Germany, they didn’t even have coffee at all, just hot chocolate!)
