They do, but I think one of the bloggers had reported that GC purchases from Target locations still earned stars at the time. So much for churning stars.

Funny how things work. I was in the camp who was unhappy about stars going revenue-based.

But they keep throwing bonuses at me, and I'm racking up free drinks at a much faster rate. This past weekend I completed my 4 visits in 4 days for 150 stars; now I get offered 200 stars if I visit 7 times in the next 14 days.

They are keeping me interested, that's for sure.

Same here... but the fine print says these visits won't count for other promos, such as star dashes.

They're getting smarter. The system is becoming aware.

Their communication was pretty clear I thought. Just read the e-mail they sent out.

On the new app, I can't figure out where to see when a reward expires. That used to be simple and obvious.

I didn't notice that.

Points expire after 6 months. Oldest points are pulled when redeeming awards. Point expiration detail can be seen on a tab near the transaction history.

So if I have enough for one reward, are you saying that it is valid as long as I have enough non-expired stars? It used to be that a free drink award expired after a month (iirc).

Right, when you redeem a reward now the program deducts 125 stars from your account. Different from the old program where you got a reward that expired on a certain date.

Now you just have to make sure your stars don't expire, instead of rewards.

Yes. Just keep an eye on when your stars expire.

Thanks!

Anyone ever used a reward to buy a box of k-cups?

I don't know if it would work. If it does, I wonder if it would work on a bag of coffee?

Tried it today. Computer wouldn't process it as a reward.

Me too. Great promo. I was in NYC this weekend and wasn't staying somewhere that provided breakfast, so needed to buy food out anyway. Breakfast and coffee both days, rung up separately. Easy 120 bonus stars.

I just got my challenge for this week. Buy a breakfast sandwich, a mocha, and a frap from June 14-20 and get 140 bonus stars. I'll probably bite (pun intended).
