Maybe they're trying to get rid of us 1 cup coffee drinkers. Works for me.

Far from a meaningful sample size but most of the feedback from the baristas regarding customer dissatisfaction of the program change has been unfavorable. There have been 2 occasions out of 10 where the store has been "too" busy since the rollout. Normally, for me, it clocks in around 40-50% at the locations that I frequent but I'm not sure if this is related to the program change as the baristas seem to imply.

Using a reward when I order from the app is a change that should have happened much sooner but I'm not noticing much else that's different as I'm probably the type of customer that won't see much of an impact from this change. On one hand, I don't examine it closely because the scope of it is so soft for me. However, I also see it from the other side and identify myself as one of their biggest suckers since my accrual rate didn't change much while others have seen theirs double or worse.

Thanks for sharing - works for me as our cards are running on account balance, was going to refill. Giveaway bonus is capacity controlled. Confirmated receipt for $20 worth, that's a 1:1 match - made that dozen+ hot brewed coffee at about $1.25 with free same day refills, not bad. About as economical as it can get these days & better deal than McD's $1 special at most location (well, all airport ones excluded - of course.)

My gold status is now updated to show that it expires 11/2017. However, between the make one purchase promo and that I had requalified before the program update, I just sent an email asking them to update my status to show that it should expire 11/2018. I'm guessing I'll receive a, "Sorry, we can't do that," but why not ask?

March 4, 2018 for me now. It also says I only need 29 more stars to stay gold, so maybe it'll automatically go to 2019 once the 80 bonus stars from the last promo I did get applied?

I'm a tall drip coffee drinker only

$1.96 with my own cup ($2.06 before .10 discount) which I do maybe 2X a week usually on the weekends.

Once in a blue moon I bring my older son who likes the $5 drinks.

Any of this Revenue based rewards crap doesn't do me much good whether its AA or SBUX

Mine had been 11/16, and just changed to 11/17. However, it was 11/17 before the program "enhancements".

If one pays cash, can you get credit on the rewards program? if so, how?

I don't think so. I had $0.00 on my card and tried scanning it for the credit, but got zilch.

Use the cash to reload your card at the store, and then use your card?

I got another "visit X times for Y bonus points" offer just now. 9 times/100 points or 13 times/150 points. Also, there's a 25% off a breakfast sandwich promo in the same email with a one time use code you're supposed to show the cashier. Not sure I want to bother this time around but maybe either'll come in handy for someone here.
