Busy travel day today, so all sustenance was consumed in airport lounges and on the plane.

Eggs a few different ways, fresh fruit, salad, hummus, crudites, made to order guac, and the ubiquitous AA turkey and arugula sandwich.

More of the same tomorrow.

excellent tikka masala - I had the coconut curry at Costco in March and later bought it at grocery stores; I’ll eventually buy it again at Costco. I definitely like Sukhi’s and recall that you’ve worked with her in the past :-)

just wish Costco had a mixed box or other options from Tasty Bite (or whatever their name) besides lentils. I also bought some packets at an Indian grocer which are spicier (great for me) so I know to return there for more :-)

It was certainly an indulgence! I paid for it after I woke up today.

But yeah, it was decadently delicious. Why does the worst crap always taste so good? (Not saying that all crap things taste good and not saying that healthy food is not necessarily bad tasting)

Lunch was leftover Chinese hot pot that I carried in yesterday. Chicken breast, broccoli, cabbage, rice cakes, ribbon noodles, bok choy, nice and spicy and served over brown rice.

That actually filled me up pretty well, so for dinner I'm currently just eating some leftover vegetables I made the other day - kale with diced tomatoes and garlic. I'll probably have some ice cream afterwards, though

Two?? Eesh, that's going to hurt.

Sometimes as a treat to myself I go to Dunkin' and get one of their breakfast sandwiches with my iced coffee. But only one

My guilty fast food pleasure is Wendy's cod sandwich.

awww the food hangover is a good part of the experience :-)

I bet that you could make your egg McMuffin with less sodium and sugar, and it will still taste good. Less pork sausage and just scrambled eggs and you’ll love it.

One of the few things I really like at McDs. I always order the sausage McMuffin with egg with NO American cheese though. It just doesn't go with pork sausage IMO. At any rate, I can eat 2 of them as often as I like with no ill effects whatsoever. I consider it to be a relatively healthy fast food breakfast (without the cheese). I do prefer breakfast to be my largest meal of the day, and that may make a difference too.

I used to love these about 10 -15 years ago, but something in the English Muffins they use changed and it just doesn't taste the same. I now prefer their Bagel Sandwiches, and ask for the extra sauce (buttery like) that comes on it.

Did anyone notice that when Gaobest quoted this post, he changed the name from yyznomad to tynomad? What is the meaning of tynomad????

Back on topic, my wife and I tried the new Arby's Turkey, Bacon and Swiss wrap for dinner. It was so big, she could only eat half of it, and was surprised I was able to finish it off and a Beef-n-Cheddar Sandwich.

You're probably right, but I don't think I can ask for less sodium and sugar when I make my order (I'm assuming they don't have sodium and sugar shakers that they sprinkle over/in the sandwich).

On another note, I noticed that the McD's in my area have a new "Chicken McMuffin"... I might try that out soon.

I feel tempted to make an egg McMuffin at home - I forgot the cheese so I would skip the cheese portion. Italian sausage and provolone is okay but without egg. It’s hard to really picture a combo of egg/cheese/sausage. Even beef hot dogs don’t really go with cheese. Interesting to consider since we eat burgers with cheese but not beef sausage with cheese except for some weird exceptions. I guess a Philly cheesesteak is the other beef/cheese.

Ooh yum. I grew up eating Cantonese food and dim sum in San Francisco and I love it all so much.

h.
I love cheese on a hot dog. You have never had a chili cheese dog? Actually it is probably a fakeish cheese sauce at some places but it is yummy. Not at all weird IMO.
