leftover oven fries

My hubby loves the Jalapeno Cheddar Johnsonville sausages. Not sure if this would give you the spice you want. :)

thanks! I’ll try it when I see it on sale - I’m too addicted to buying sausage on sale at Safeway. I’m nicely long on sausage and meat so I’m no longer in a hurry. Big yay for our red retro freezer in the garage.

For dinner, courtesy of the Uber Eats 50% off promo, a delivery from Holy Cow: lamb biryani, murgh masala and some tarka dhal, with pappadums of course.

That's the only way Uber Eats is reasonably priced now.

We made chicken & veggie tikka masala last night, with jarred sauce. Chicken, cauliflower, peppers, onion plus a few healthy doses of sambal olek. Rice & naan. Not necessarily authentic, but very delicious!

gorgeous - I’ve bought some indian food jars and packets at an Indian grocery in sf but haven’t yet cooked it. It’s one of those “just add chicken” packages, plus I still have some packs of indian vegetable dishes. I must get naan as it completes the meal!

I tried a new sauce yesterday, Mr. Kook's. We thought it was pretty good. Again, not like getting it made from scratch, but I would buy that brand again.

No no no. Sauteed slowly in butter only. No crispy edges!

Depends on what you're in the mood for, and what they're served with. Here's how it works in our house: 90% of the time I fry eggs, it's in butter. 90% of the time my wife fries eggs, it's in olive oil. Sometimes it's a matter of who wants to bother to cook and sometimes it's a matter of who gets to the stove first. :)

I was going to save this for dinner tonight, but I have a work happy hour and figured I wouldn't want to cook after.

Apricot glaze on pork chops and asparagus with garlic.

gaobest Jul 22, 2020 2:54 pm

Grilled Aidell’s andouille sausage & jalapeño with sautéed red onions on toasted seeded sourdough baguette
deli potato salad

Spicy hummus and a greek salad from our local TJs.

gaobest Jul 23, 2020 2:07 pm

Back rib curry with carrots & potatoes & onion. I finally packed enough powders and I feel the curry spice - 1 tbsp each of curry powder, curry paste, paprika, and molido (from a new unopened package)
white rice
