I personally wouldn't try sweetening a salad which already has fruit in it. What if you added a generous portion of a herb on top - something like parsley, chevril or perhaps even mint (not sure about the last one).

Our first UK home outside meal of the year in scorching sun ... and it was a freshly made (Turkish or Lebanese ... or Hampshire depending on who you choose to believe ... but who really cares .....:) ) lahmacun today - from the pizza oven. I wish I could post the taste and smell ...

My wife says it was wonderful. We also had a lot of wine .....:)

That's so kind of you. Just when I think I'll stop as there isn't much interest in the thread or food pics, someone says they enjoy the pics.

I guess that as cooking gives me so much pleasure I have a rather unexplainable desire to get others giving it a go. Especially those things you eat when away and really want to eat back home. I believe everyone can cook well. Anyone. Everyone.
