We went to Duffs in Orchard Park, NY (suburb of BUF) and the wings were delicious! Did not disappoint!

Fat Head's is a great choice!

I occasionally go to BWW, but it's not high on my list of where to go for wings. Yes, the sauce selection is nice, but I somehow always feel like I spent far too much for the amount of food.

Now this is a great restaurant. I don't order any wings I usualy order a cheeseburger and fries can't forget to metion got to have a bud light.

However this restaurant is in a horrible mall called the palisades mall the 2nd largest mall in the US behind mall of america. I never shop at this mall I go to Paramus if I need to buy clothes or gift cards even if they have the same stores like bare essentials. the only store in the Mall I like is back stage a rock t shirt store. there has been quite a few crimes that happened at the pallisades mall. it's not even a good looking mall.

However I do love both restaurants Buffalo wild wings and Lucky strike.
both restaurants are located on the 4th floor, which has an entire floor dedicated to restaurants. I really enjoy having waitresses serve me food and drink while wearing sport teams outfits like the Yankees , Rangers, steelers ect.

it has to be a sports bar not chain restaurants, like ruby tuesdays, Fridays , applebees , houilihans, actual sports bars I can't think of any.

Hooters is actualy a sports bar, Buffalo wild wings has much better food
I enjoy the Yankees outfits, I also enjoy waitress sitting with me wearing tank tops. the restaurant from me Buffalo wild wings is about 12 to 15 minutes.

How did you like Orchard park? what time of year did you go? did you get a chance to visit Buffalo? do you like Hockey? were you visiting family, just on vacation or were you on a business trip?

I like Hockey . went to Niagra falls on the canadian side. I went in June it would be considered the summer time.

I've been to that one as well. I like going there with some friends to watch a game sometimes.

Most sports bars I've visited have been better than BWW. Our local sports bar, Cobblestone's, is great-- TV's at each booth, tons of TV's at the bar, and 60+ beers on tap, most of them microbrews.

Similar concept at a sports bar outside of PIT that I frequent when I'm there.

Not only do they stay in business, but BWW thrives. Food is slightly below mediocre, but beer selection is generally good compared to other options (in general). They do really well in smaller cities and with travelers.

You are right that the local sports bars are better, but it is often hard for travelers to seek them out. BWW is the safe choice. Not that I fall into this category.

My local joint is called the Beer Bistro (so plenty of choices there) and they have 25 cent Buffalo wings on Sundays - which are taster than BWW and it's in all the dining programs! ^

This may be true, although a quick stop at the hotel front desk may procure the name of a decent local sports bar.

I'm very partial to ours--lots of microbrews, both on tap and in bottles, reasonably priced beer, great happy hour specials, prizes for winning Buzztime trivia on certain days, and once the bartenders learned that we tip well if treated, a distinct drop in our bill, lots of beer samples, and a lot of great conversation. It's not uncommon for the bartenders to receive more in a tip from us than what our bill was, but, when I'm only ever without a beer because I'm having a tough time deciding what I want, I tend to be happy.

The only BWW I've been to is the one in Cascade Station near PDX. Dry doesn't even begin to describe the chicken.

I'll take Wingstop any day.
