I've only been to BWW a few times and they are good at what they are. The food is fine and in my experience the service is fine. The experience is what many people want and they are always busy. They are not going away any time soon.

I like that place. Don't live too far from it, either.

The only thing that ticks me off is the BW3 near me refuses to play the sound (except during Lakers games or playoffs). And they refuse to put Closed Captioning on even 1 TV.

That said I will probably go for lunch today.

I needed to get to my next $75 plateau for another 500 MP miles by June 30, so I was there Monday for the $5 pizza, Tuesday for the $2 burger and last night for the $5.99 soup and sliders special! I think I'll take the holiday off!

Don't feel bad. I get the 20% alcoholic's (i mean, "neighborhood") discount at my corner bar, Jefferson Tap, for being there so (too) much.

BTW, off the subject but on the topic of the thread--I once won the BWW challenge. My pic is on the wall at the one near Toyota Park

(Those of us who aren't athletes and aren't particularly talented in other ways have to take what glory we can get...)

I'm in the camp with those who said BWW isn't bad - especially for a family night out. Plenty of TVs for the youngsters to watch, and adequate food and drink. The quality of their wings is sufficient and the service (in my experience) has been fine. The overall value was decent.

"Isn't bad," "sufficient" quality and lots of TVs to entertain the kids! Yum!

What do you want from a chain of wing restaurants? I could have said "better than Hooters", but that would have been really unfair to BWW.

I think the quality of the specialty of the house should be better than "sufficient." But, I agree, the TVs are great. Something for everyone.

30 seconds to eat a wing, times twelve? I could probably do that. The thought of my picture on the wall for doing such a thing will keep me from trying, though.

I have high standards for wings.

BWW are fine, but I have a hard time saying they are more than "sufficient" to satisfy a wing craving.

Have you been to Q in Port Chester? They have the largest wings I've ever seen. 3 wings have enough meat on them to fill you up. Only offered on Thursday (all day). $1.25 per wing. Just say the word. I'm sure HPN-HRL would join us.

These wings are not gimicky. They're the real thing. http://www.qrestaurantandbar.com/doc...klySpecial.pdf

I have been to Q, but not for wings. Candlelight remains my go-to place for wings.

That said, I will have to put a Thursday trip to Q on my to-do list.
