Add me to the too much salt/garlic list. I'm ashamed to admit that the stuff on the crust tasted so bad, I put down my beer to drink some water!

The new stuff tastes (A) overbaked and (B) way, way garlic-salty. The crust seems to have been brushed with butter or something to give it a glaze, then had garlic salt rubbed in. The sauce tastes more vinegary to me. Don't see much difference in the toppings. It's got more character than old Domino's for sure, but it's definitely harder to eat.

Yes. But it's value-leader pizza, cheap and bland and doughy. It's feed-your-10th-grader-and-his-ravenous-friends pizza. You stop by the mini-mall and pick up a stack of Little Caesars "Hot-N-Ready" pepperoni pizzas @ $5.55 for the teenage horde, but you don't really want it for yourself.

How predictable; lighten up, will ya? Whever we get one of these food / restaurant quality threads going, we're guaranteed to hear from a couple of people who say everything that is reasonably or commonly available is disgusting. We had a best-steak thread in which people averred that no American steakhouse knows what it's doing; we had a best-paella thread where people dismissed 97% of the paella available on Earth as evil swill; etc. Saying everything is horrible is no sign of sophistication, and BTW, there is pizza in Boston's North End that kicks most of Italy up and down the block. C'mon, try some.

I've been meaning to try it for last couple weeks. I live 10 minutes from the Domino HQ and there isn't any stores near me...

The old pizza from Dominos was better. I couldn't even eat the new ones. Threw most of it away.

So much for advertising buzz. For a chain, PJ's is the best, IMO.

Loved 'em when I was a kid.

I just finished eating dominos a few minutes ago. So my first hand reaction is that it is SO MUCH better than the old version dominos pizza. I mean way better! The old one tasted like cardboard with cheese. It is definitely not my favorite pizza place, but it was pretty good and a great value for people with lots of kids.

I've got to say that the worst pizzas that i have ever had anywhere in the world were in Italy (and funny enough, Naples had the worst, followed by Siena). The only city I found to have decent tasting pizza in Italy was in Venice at one of those pizza by the slice places there. I was very disappointed.

this is a perfect example of when purchasing Domino's, Papa John's, Sarpino's is a wise move. The kids don't care, they'll eat anything.

As an adult I would hope that one has a different view of what makes a quality pizza.

Just tried it, blech...

The last Domino's pizza we had that was any good, despite the ridiculously long wait, was surprisingly at MBJ. Jerk chicken pizza--interesting for airport food.

Perhaps it was just my local chain of Domino's, but I stopped ordering from them years ago, when they switched from using Mozzeralla cheese and started using 'cheddar' on their pizza's ---yeech!

23 high school kids at a cast party I had over the weekend swore the deep dish and brooklyn pizza was the best ever. Of course they were all from a pizza wasteland in South Florida. They told me it is far tastier than the previous Dominos.

I did not eat any. I roll my own pizza when home.

I'd like to try some, but would have no reasonable basis for comparison as the last time I actually ordered domino's might have been in college more than 11 years ago. and like 10th graders, hungry college guys will eat anything free/cheap - hence, the $3 pies from Backroom Pizza in Ann Arbor at 2am
