Whever we get one of these food / restaurant quality threads going, we're guaranteed to hear from a couple of people who say everything that is reasonably or commonly available is disgusting. We had a best-steak thread in which people averred that no American steakhouse knows what it's doing; we had a best-paella thread where people dismissed 97% of the paella available on Earth as evil swill; etc. Saying everything is horrible is no sign of sophistication, and BTW, there is pizza in Boston's North End that kicks most of Italy up and down the block. C'mon, try some.
