After adult hockey last night, I found a bottle of Black Toad Dark Ale at the bottom of the team cooler, so I cracked it open and gave it a shot. It was akin to drinking a bottle of chocolate. I'm usually a fan of the dark ales, but this one was, um, unique. Not sure I'll be stocking my beer fridge with it. ;)

Me too. :)

Did I mention the Hoptimum Double IPA by Sierra Nevada? 10.4% ABV and soooo smooth. Well balanced too. I hope it's not seasonal. Drool here.

Beer

Singha and Cobra. I like them best when summer is really smoking.

When it comes to Thai beers Chang ain't bad either. It's very different from Singha, but I actually prefer the taste of Chang.

Kicking back in a hotel near MCI before flying to PVG tomorrow, went to the corner store and picked up a 6 pack of Blue Moon and a 6 pack of Sam Adams Alpine Spring. :)
