I have a six pack of Sweetwater 420.

My sister and her husband arrive Friday and I will need to seriously stock the beer fridge for him. The good news is he has no taste whatsoever which means I could buy a case of Natty Lite and he'd thank me. I won't do it for fear he doesn't consume it all and I'm stuck looking at a couple leftover cans for 2 years.

Still got some Innis & Gunn Spiced Rum Porter left after Christmas, but not for long .

Stocked up yesterday with two six-packs of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

So, go with something inexpensive, but semi-enjoyable, that you can easily pass off to others too.

With the exception of another brother-in-law in Mrs BV's side of the family, we all like beer you can taste. I'd rather waste good beer on the unappreciative than be caught with a pantry full of Irish piss. So yes, that's what I'll do.

I need to go on a beer run, or pick up beer when we go visit my parents. Otherwise, it is going to be a LONG weekend.

This past weekend, I lived off a 12 pack Sweetwater variety pack at my grandparent's place in Georgia since they typically only have Budweiser or Bud Light.

Today at Costco by my office I picked up a 24 pack of Shiner Cheer for $20 ^

Loaded up my fridge for my upcoming NYE bash...

-Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, 2016 edition
-Stone Xocoveza
-Evil Twin Christmas Eve at a New York City Hotel Room
-Rogue Dead Guy Ale
-Ommegang Great Beyond Double IPA
-Bronx Brewery No Resolutions IPA
-Green Flash Passion Fruit Kicker Wheat Ale

Disappointed that Limbo IPA from Long Trail wasn't available, but I guess you can't get everything you want...

It's all relative. I'd be genuinely embarrassed to have Sweetwater in my fridge. Glass houses and all that.

I also had Stygian Descent last night (had picked it up at Stone's brewpub in SAN T2)...excellent black IPA. It could easily fit in as an offshoot of the Arrogant brand.
