Breezeway was on bording pass but I'm not medallion
From JFK to SFO my boarding pass had "Breezeway" on top, I thought it was funny because Im not a medallion. On the return flight it didn't have it printed on the boarding pass. I thought only medallions get breezeway access, was this an error?

sometimes certain rows, like exit rows and bulkhead rows will also get priority boarding, due to limited overhead bin space. If not sitting in one of those seats, consider it a little gift from DL.

Breezeway training appears to be working... (too well?)
Slow day at the PHL airport today.
So, I was first in line when they called zone 1 (even though I held back just a moment to make sure that my photo didn't appear on FT in a "gate lice" thread
).
But... I was not in the Breezeway lane, because it was blocked by an empty wheelchair.
The GA approached and said, "We're supposed to be using the elite line."
I pointed to the obstruction.
She then moved the wheelchair, pulled the self-retracting barrier tape across the regular lane, and made everyone waiting in line reverse field and come back down the Breezeway lane.

It makes sense to take the 5-10 seconds extra to begin a longer process the right way. If the GA had just been lazy and started boarding where the line happened to form, she might have been unnecessarily chastized by a supervisor who might walk by a few minutes later unaware of the wheelchair problem. And your average gate louse, showing up late and seeing boarding taking place through the non-breezeway, would be encouraged to jump in line and crowd the area (as if they need any more encouragement).

Actually, the GA should have cleared the Breezeway lane and roped off the General boarding lane before calling for Zone 1 boarding. The OP shouldn't have had to point out the obstruction to the agent. (I'm not complaining - just pointing it out).
BTW, I have consistently seen Delta implement and use the proper Breezeway boarding procedure. Thanks DL ^ NW had their 'breezeway' like access but it never seemed consistent to me. Whereas on DL I have seen the GA rope off the General boarding lane and flatten out the Breezeway carpet 99% of the time.

Roping off the regular lane is new for Delta, too. It does seem to be an improvement over the original Breezeway process.

While it does seem to be a bit overly formal on the surface this may be DL's way to accomplish a couple of things:
1. Make it clear to non Breezeway customers that there really is a policy in place here.
2. Remind the GAs that Breezeway matters.
Overall I've noted that Breezeway is being implemented more consistently/formally over the last few months as well - good job DL.

Standing in Breezeway in CDG a few days ago, a couple walked up and stood in line behind me (they were supposed to be there). Some woman standing in General Pop line for the last hour waiting for the 1hr late departure started yelling at them. "EXCUSE ME but we're waiting in line, what makes you not have to wait?"
Very politely, one of them responded "there are two lines". The woman just stewed away yammering at her surrounding passengers in line for a few minutes and glared the whole time.
Apparently the yeller did not pay any attention to the Biz Elite and Breezeway boarding announcement. DL began processing both lines as announced.

very nice to hear...
VERY nice to hear that there is now some true consistency in the Breezeway/SkyPriority Boarding process. I'm guessing it is because of SkyPriority that the process is finally starting to be more formalized. I'm hoping to see such service tomorrow into Wednesday for a business trip to TLH.
