One of the great things about Song was that they encouraged their FAs to be themselves. The really funny ones were fantastic and truly hysterical.
I still run into some of them from time to time on mainline flights, which turn into some of the more enjoyable flights.

Happy to hear about a GA making his job and everyone's travel experience a pleasurable one, but "Breezeway" is still a complete joke that does nothing but piss people off!

Last Wednesday PHX-ATL, great FA crew; very attentive entire trip. Upon landing usual PA but with a neat touch of humor as in; "In 80+ years of Delta's flying no passenger has every beaten the plane to the gate so please remain seated, etc." Great laugh from the passengers.

I've had some really awesome experiences with MSP G/As over the years - they definitely seem to have an extra sense of humor that really resonates with mine (maybe the pseudo-scandinavian heritage of the area resulted in a dry sense of humor that closely matches my own?). They're also incredibly helpful with odd requests that would simply get me shoo'ed away in Atlanta.
Delta should stack rank their gate agents in MSP and offer the top 5-10% of them a bonus to switch jobs with some JFK G/As for a while. I think the cross-pollination would do the system good - nobody ever seems happy at JFK and the "can do" attitude prevalent at MSP would be a refreshing change from the "can't do, and I'm attempting to hate you to death for even daring to ask" I always seem to get from New York G/As.

Only because there'd be less of the great MSP G/As up here working

In PHX on Wednesday, there was a group "hovering" in the Breezeway line and the GA remembered that there were not first class or elite fliers and told them "it will be while until you can board - after first class and our Medallion flyers. Why don't you have a seat."

When you are ready to start stating "I'm on an MR, deal with it.", then you've embraced the culture. Or "I'm in F and you're not, what's your point?".
And when you take the same flight number and day of week enough that the FAs recognize you on the parking bus, then you've reached a new level of repetition.

Confused over Boarding Pass - "Breezeway" when I'm not elite?
Good Afternoon!
I just printed my and my husband's boarding pass for tomorrow and mine indicates "breezeway" and "Zone 2" and I'm not elite. My husband's doesn't have breezeway and he is Zone 4 (we're on separate records).
Questions:
1) Does this indeed allow me access to the breezeway?
2) Would my AmEx Plat be the reason for the priority boarding?
3) Can my husband board with me even tho he isn't priority and in a different zone?
Thanks for any help on this!

1. When your boarding pass says "Breezeway", feel free to use it.
2. Listed below is the link to Delta priority frequent traveler security lines:
https://www.delta.com/traveling_chec...rity/index.jsp
3. Have your husband board with you. Simply tell the gate agent, he is your husband if they ask (and is carrying your luggage).
Have a good flight. Remember, Delta Gets You There with Care.
