Home sweet home after an unplanned weekend in Chicago due to last weeks winter snowstorm. Might even have enough time to do laundry this weekend. Yay.

You're excited about doing laundry?

There was no exclamation point on the end of their sentence so maybe it was more sarcastic? As a totally useless anecdote, one of the things I look forward to when I get home is doing laundry. It’s like sleeping in my own bed, except with water.

Sounds like you need to get your waterbed repaired

I'm sitting in the SQ lounge in SIN T2 (having previously checked out the T3 lounge as well on advice from the *A FTers at the SIN DO) shhh... don't tell Delta.

Actually, do tell Delta: I was booked on NH in Y and:
- I was able to search for upgrade inventory on the UA web site
- on finding no availability, I was able to set an EF alert for the relevant fare bucket
- when it triggered several weeks later, I called in and the agent immediately understood my request to reissue from the UA codeshare onto the "native" NH flight number
- then I was able to go onto the UA web site to submit and confirm my own mileage upgrade (remember, on partner metal!)

SIN-NRT-GUM tonight/tomorrow, then Island Hopper on Monday!

In 25B on an MD 90 (great seat when I don’t get upgraded as is the norm on ATL-PBI) and the FA was at our row to offer drinks.
The FA from the front came up and told the other FA that “homegirl in 12 whatever (didn’t hear the seat)” wanted another vodka soda and some more biscoffs.
Was trying to think the last time I heard the term homegirl while wondering why the one FA wouldn’t just pour her the drink.

This won't be exciting to anyone else, but this week I booked my first pair of Delta tickets - me and one with a companion certificate.

I feel as if I have upgraded from beginning flyer mode to low intermediate.

You sleep in the washing machine while it is washing your clothes?

Can a RUC that was attempted to be applied SAN-ATL-PBI. It cleared ATL-PBI and about 1% chance on SAN-ATL.
I can have this removed right? Agent was telling me not possible on Twitter.
Thanks

Nope. Once an RUC clears on any segment, it is used and cannot be recovered. Next time you should have them apply it only to the longer segment.

At least you cleared one of the toughest short-hauls in the system.

Can't you cancel the upgrade and get the RUC/GUC back if the ticket hasn't yet been reissued and if the original coach purchased inventory bucket is still available?
