Depending on time of year, those BOS-LHR flights can have some serious tailwinds and cut a lot of time off the flight... they can frequently be under 6 hours flight time or even 5:30 or less with a strong jestream in the winter.

Our HND > ATL was nearly 90 minutes early.
Crazy. |
We flew D1 to TPE last week and the entrees were the same as premium select. Is it the same exact meal or just the same entrees?

IIRC when PS launched that was basically the idea for food, the same mains with maybe fewer options. Not sure what difference it makes tbh.
idk, I don't think I've ever noticed what people in another cabin were eating, seems kind of odd, are you like walking back there during service and checking on everyone? |

DL started serving main entrees from D1 in PS about a year ago (but with fewer selections). Not exactly the same as they are pre-packaged and not plated and you only have one dessert option (and no separate appetizer round).

One version of the Delta PS the bulkhead has enough legroom for tall people despite not having an underseat in front of you for your feet, the other 2 do not. Does anybody know which one is the plane that has the most bulkhead legroom in PS? Assuming it is not the A350, does anybody know which A350 PS seats have the most clear area under the seat? IIRC it was the aisles of the middle section?

767-300er ps leg rests
Hi. Flying JFK - ARN in May. Can't manage D1, so looking at PS. Do all of the 767-300ERs have the full, extending leg and foot rest?
This is the ONLY benefit of PS that I care about. Being short, those little pop-out foot rests do me no good on a long flight where I'm trying to sleep. |

Yes, (kids) flew PS ATL <> HND in June. We were in D1.
Food was actually okay - maybe better than okay - even with picky eater kids. My wife switched with my daughter and ate her meal and enjoyed it. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1c6bc5275.jpeg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...22433bb55.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d04650b86.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b81ef4c24.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...74de85e99.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7fcaddd89.jpeg |
Flew PS JFK-ATH a couple months ago.
Meal was great. Service good. Same wine as D1 that we had on the way home and was actually good (for a change). Seat not comfortable for overnight flight. OK for return from Europe during the day but not the way over. Never again. |

How can Delta be such a premium airline yet their food looks worse than other airlines? No way would I eat the food I see in these pic’s.

You haven't been paying attention to flyertalk.... if Delta serves it, it is gourmet dining LOL!
I don’t recall anyone here going THIS far. |

In any case, food is pretty notorious for photographing poorly if you don't know what you're doing (particularly in an airplane where there's zero room to maneuver and the lighting is usually terrible), there's very little correlation between what an amateur's photo of a meal looks like and how it tastes, though we know people are mostly concerned with superficial appearances. |
