Are there any long haul transatlantic routes that don’t have Premium Select at the moment?

Anything flown by an A35L won’t have PS and I think that is pretty much it. From what I’ve seen, the older 763s without PS are being used domestically or shorter international until their refit.

Wanted to confirm the DL 763 LAX to HNL with PS seats marketed as Conf+.....you are really just getting the upgraded seat only correct?

Upgraded seat, improved snack basket, and free alcohol.

I saw a recent TPG piece showing what AA now serves in Y on their LAX-LHR flight and was pretty shocked at how terrible it looked, and at the minimal quality. (Breakfast is a yogurt with granola… which I could see on a short transatlantic redeye from the East Coast, but not a 10 hour flight from LA.)

I recently flew American to Rome, the PE meals were similar to the meals on American domestic first class, and the economy meals were back to 1990’s standards - cheese and crackers, salad with dressing, bread and butter, main entrees of meatballs with mashed potatoes or ravioli marinara, and a brownie for dessert. I didn’t like the vegetarian Indian dish (only option left) in PE so I asked for an economy meatball casserole and it was wonderful.

C+ always gets free drinks
The snack basket on my last PE flight was the same one offered to C+

Yes, when you book C+ on a flight where C+ is the PE seats, you get the C+ free drinks and (since these are nearly always over 900 miles), the upgraded C+ snack basket.

I thought I recently read someplace that Delta would be upgrading the meals and service in Premium Select effective 3/2024. Any word on this?

This was announced by DL, although the date was given as "begin rollout in March 2024." When DL will finish rolling it out is anyone's guess, just as we don't know which routes will the the first to implement the changes.

Headed to CDG next week in PS...have not seen anything to pre-select meal...I guess we should expect same old, same old?

I just flew MSP-AMS in PS on Monday, I can verify absolutely no changes. Spinach Ravioli or chicken. Some kind of breakfast sandwich before landing that was pretty poor. I wasn’t expecting much, so nothing surprising. For me PS is all about the space, but would love to see DL up their game in the soft product.

Maybe IT issues in rollout as menu.delta.com no longer lists meal options in PS for March (it had been listing 2 choices for previous months).
