The real frequent flyers. I wonder how many MQSs they'll earn this year.

May I ask two silly questions?
Question 1 - has kipper seen the new Thor movie yet?
Question 2 - did kipper think it was good.
My women back home are positively drooling.

I have not. I've been avoiding movie theatres given the recent COVID scare in our household (my mother was on a vent for 48 hours and has been told by the transplant clinic that she's one of the only patients they have who were intubated and survived). I'll catch it once it is out on a streaming service.

The trip to JFK was quite a success and resulted in a fabulous dinner at a great Italian place in South Ozone Park. Home now in time to video chat with some friends, and get some more work done.

Delta cancelled my MUC-ATL flight today, and since Bavaria is under a heat warning, we’ve opted to just hang out at the Hilton at the airport and occasionally venture down and take advantage of the lounge access the hotel is currently giving to Gold and Platinum Hhonors sorts.
Weather in DTW, where our plane was coming from, seemed clear yesterday so I’m hoping for a minimal fuss EU 261 claim.

The weather in the NYC area is supposed to be miserable today, exported from the southeast with highs in the mid-90's. That'll really screw flights up, particularly at LGA.
Happily, I'm at the beach where the forecast high is 82. There's a nice breeze coming in off the ocean and I guess I'll have to settle for another day in paradise.
The only limitation is no swimming due to the sharks. We've had 3 people bitten so far and the closest shark bite to us was 1/4 mile away. One of our friends sons, who's an ocean lifeguard, told me they're using drones to check the water and there are many times that the water is full of sharks. They don't usually go after people but the schools of fish they're feeding on move into shallow water to get away from them, and when a school of sharks gets into a feeding frenzy the'll go after anything in the water. One person was standing in less than waist deep water when they were bitten.

I’ve long heard that shark schools are very visible when you’re up in a helicopter along the FL panhandle. It’s a sign that I can be good at compartmentalizing that I used to do triathlons with open water swims there anyways.
I’m looking forward to daytime highs in the 80s back home but we don’t generally get that until October.

I'm still waiting on details of the Distillery Do, but any interest in doing this on the 16th or after the Distillery Do on the 17th?
