It's my last Monday in the office until mid-Sep, so it is for me.

Can't say SC self-serve bar vs staffed bar ever influenced my decision on routing (though being able to go to a SC with a SkyDeck or a SC where I can plane watch often does - that means wanting to avoid DTW with the annoying windows). My biggest factors (besides prices and schedule) are aircraft type, MQMs, avoiding certain hubs during certain times of year, and adding new lines to my FlightMemory. Other factors are I would sometimes routes via DTW to have the opportunity to meet up with some in-laws for lunch or dinner on a long layover but that's a non-factor now living much closer to Detroit.

For now I'm leaning towards sticking with MSP-HNL though if I see the aircraft type operating ATL-HNL changes with any of the Saturday schedule changes over the next couple weeks, I will definitely re-evaluate.

Can we assume that you have reserved seats that you like on the MSP route?

I do but as of my most recent check, the ATL-HNL leg had the seats I would most prefer available too (though it’s also less of an issue for the daytime flight - my biggest concern is being on the left side of the jet for the approach into HNL and hoping for the 8L arrival versus the 4R arrival.

"Working remotely" from YVR (I mean I did wait until 5pm)

Tenuous DL tie-in -- Google says they had a Colorado outpost, that was bought up by Sweetwater. (I did a search after accidentally checking in to the wrong location on Untappd )

Stop #2

Cucumber mint IPA sounded intriguing, and it is, although more cucumber than mint.

The manganero is not as in-your-face as I remember the Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin being, which is good or bad depending how much you like spicy

Oooh, I just finished the Manganero, then went back to the cucumber mint and they should really consider combining the two.

It’s been a Monday. Fist flight delayed Right after I got to the airport. I didn’t realize it until I was at the gate so I got to schlep all the way back to the lounge. Spent the entire delay putting out fires. I’m still not ready for my big meeting in the morning and I’m going on 30 minutes of waiting for a pick up order for dinner that was supposedly ready Almost an hour ago.
At least I know the sushi will be freshly rolled.
