MAEN!

Mnday - back to the grind. I'm heading back to California today. Hopefully there will still be some of it left that isn't on fire.

Not for me either, but I don't need to practice for the long Thanksgiving weekend.

The discussion today in the 717 retirement? thread about DL sending aircraft someplace warm and dry to park this winter makes me envious. After experiencing January weather in early November (where was fall this year???) a nice long rest in good weather sounds very attractive to me.

Anyone want to join me tomorrow in PNS for some nice salt-water bivalve molluscs? C'mon you know you want to try them!

Now, back to my unhealthy dinner.

BTW, the green walls that I know are behind the check in desks at AmEx Centurion airport lounges (so only employees should be there, and not eating on the job in full view of customers/clients/cardmembers), above immigration at SIN, and IIRC somewhere in the lobby at the DTW Westin with the bamboo forest, where one would hope that the bamboo trees would contain more wildlife than the relatively innocuous living green wall.
SkyTeam lounges often have them more thoroughly throughout - I know this was a feature in the LHR T4 and IST lounges in the seating areas, and may have been carried forward into others as well. Of course, the IST lounge goes away in a few months... wonder if they'll rebuild a new one at Istanbul Airport in time for the cutover in January.

Separately, PEK T2 has one out in the general terminal area by the escalators down to the bus gates, too, similar to the one in SIN.

I love plant walls - definitely on my wish list for my forever house someday.

Does Delta Connection (SkyWest) actually change out the little pillows in F? I'm currently on a CRJ-900 opby SkyWest, and although I won't actually use the pillow, there's enough crud on it to make me think that they didn't swap them out from the last flight.
