Mid-20s and snow for tailgating tomorrow.

Though thankfully it should warm up to the low 30s with a little sunshine by kickoff for the Mich St/Ohio St game. First game that I'll really have to bundle up for this year.

enjoying a PDB (sparkling wine; better than nothing) on AS ... tonight’s DCA-PDX-SEA puts me at 75444 miles, so will update my profile as soon as it officially posts

Well, you could'a taken a short drive to PIT, had a little visit with me, and flown the AS nonstop to SEA!

You could've taken a detour and visited with me too.

Mr. Kipper's first trip in his new job will be to ORF, so he'll drive there.

had I not been in LA the first part of the week, taken the MSP redeye to arrive early Thursday, and then spent that afternoon and Fri at work, I might have considered trying to arrange a west/central PA meetup

flight log trivia: ~2650 total flights, with ~140 of them being redeye trips

I just took advantage of the UA travel waiver to delay my return to SFO by a few days... friends/co-workers were saying the air is pretty bad

I finally gave in and started filling in a flight log thingy mostly because I was curious about my 2018 stats. Will have ~80 segments and nearly 150k BIS...

Will see if I get around to backfilling 2017. Prior to that may not be feasible due to poor record-keeping but given I usually have OCD tendencies otherwise, that's probably a blessing in disguise

waiting to board my AS flight at DCA (1720 departure) and heard the GA for the SFO flight (1735 departure) announce an ATC delay until 2015 due to the smoke

We'll actually be out near PIT tonight and tomorrow, but have a packed schedule, which is why I didn't say anything to davetravels about meeting.
