I can't speak for First/D1, but coach on KE is better then on DL (more leg room, more comfortable seats, very attentive service).

Cool, thanks for the update! I remember hearing a lot about seat reservation problems, but things have probably sorted out better by now.

I booked directly with KE and credited to Skymiles, I was able to select seats online (not good ones, the ones towards the front of the main cabin were blocked but I did an online chat with their customer service folks and after they verified my PM status they gave me excellent seats, second or third row of the main cabin).

United just added a 2nd flight to SFO-HKG. It's pretty pathetic that DL could make their flight work.

This drives me crazy. I live near DTW now so it’s Delta or bust, but I can’t get back home to my parents in JAN nonstop. They used to have flights to MEM, CVG, DTW, DCA, and further back, DFW, but now it’s just ATL.

SEA-DFW x2 E175. They have to be able to make DFW work from Seattle!

Agree, although on the flip side you get the benefit of high frequency and mainline. AA does decent frequency to DFW, but all on CRJs. All other hubs are pretty limited in frequency (which would mean sub-optimal connection times if they aren't your destination).

Of course, you're kind of boned in the event of IRROPS or weather waivers.

Wow, good to know. It isn’t operating on the day I was looking for but I see it on other days. So happy to see this flight.

DTW to PLS (at least during the winter). Could do it with an E170/190 or C200.

Don't laugh: DCA - RUT. Think it'll happen?
