Hello Delta Forum! (regular AA flyertalk contributor... don't haze me) - anyway, for my parents 30th wedding anniversary, they are taking a trip from STL-JFK-TLV (roundtrip). Because they are flying in Delta, I cannot gift them my AA system wide upgrades. On FT, we have a thread where we can give away SWUs which we cannot use. I am aware that Delta has a similar tool to upgrade international flights but do they have a similar thread where one can ask if anyone has ones which are going to expire and they cannot use? Figured I would try to be a nice son and see if I could get them in the front of the aircraft for at least 1 way...

ORD LGA cleared 5 days in advance. 2/2 and have a "sure thing" flight up next: President's day LGA WAS flight. Lets keep the streak going Delta!

Here is my track record as a Diamond so far this year:
1/4/17: LGA - STL cleared five days out
1/5/17: STL - LGA cleared five days out
1/10/17: LGA - MSP - FSP cleared five days out (both legs)
1/11/17: FSP - MSP - LGA cleared five days out (both legs)
1/21/17: JFK - SEA came in first among all losers, ended up in C+
1/21/17: SEA - HKG GUC cleared two days out
2/4/15: ICN - DTW GUC cleared at gate
2/4/15: DTW - LGA cleared at gate
Things are not looking good for JFK - SLC - PDX - JFK next week.

2/2 SLC-DEN upgraded to 1st
2/7 DEN-LGA upgraded to 1st
2/7 LGA-CLT C+ but should've been upgraded to 1st. Plane took off with 1 seat open and I was #1 on the list. FA couldn't explain why.

Got rebooked from a cleared DCA-LGA-ORD to a DCA-DTW-ORD at T-25 because of the snowstorm last week. No chance at all on a Friday AM DCA-DTW, 12th of 22 for 2 seats. Given that Senator Peters didn't clear (he was across the aisle from me), I certainly wasn't going to clear.
Came close on DCA-ORD, was 1st of 8 for 1 seat and then somebody most have SDC'd into it at about T-5, and that was that.
Plat, no reserve card, ticket was in the X bucket, so I was going to lose all ties.

Tomorrow 2/13 LAS-SJC on a V fare, my first time not being upgraded at T-6d on this city pair despite F6 -- this was for the morning departure. Afternoon/evening nonstops both had RU at the 6-day window based the upgrade eligibility popup.
Due to a meeting which now conflicts the AM flight however, today I tried to SDC to the evening departure which still had RU available. Agent said it only had X inventory and upfare would cost ~$65, else LAS-LAX-SJC confirmable in V so I opted for that. Didn't get put on the upgrade list even for WU, called back to speak with second agent who rectified that and was immediately upgraded to RU on both legs.

Great start to the year as a PM. First two trips were G fares. Then, both segments of PBI-BOS-MSP cleared. IRROP'd to PBI-MSP nonstop, cleared at the gate. Then, MSP-IAH cleared with companion, on a weekday, 4 days out. Pleasant surprise there. All V fares, too.
