Not sure if this is because it cleared into OU/was marked "business" and/or if it's new for some flights to clear after midnight ET. Other flights the same day cleared around 5 p.m. T-6.
IME it's common for upgrades to clear around 3 am ATL time.

My ORD-MSP cleared about 36 hours after the DM window opened. With 9/16 FC seats open, I think one upgrade cleared during the day, perhaps about 20 hours after the DM window, and then a bunch cleared
overnight. Now three FC seats remain open.

Currently an FO.

2017-01-06 DL 1159 BUF-ATL @ 16:27 ~ 712 Miles ~ Upgraded
2017-01-07 DL 1824 ATL-MCO @ 11:55 ~ 500 Miles ~ Economy Comfort

For DL 1159, I was #6 of 9 on a W fare for 4 seats. Due to the storms in ATL I ended up getting the upgrade as a ton of people SDC'd out of those seats. Even had a party of 6 board the flight close to 5:30pm (we didn't leave til after 6pm) who were on the 6pm departure and moved onto our flight.

For DL 1824 I was #16 of 30 something on a W fare for 1 seat. # of seats up front varied greatly due to all the issues with the weather in ATL, and I'm pretty sure that when I changed over from the original flight I was supposed to be on Friday night I ended up with a Y class fare from the W. Anyway, no chance, but did have 14E on the 757 so it was exit bulkhead.

YTD First Segments: 3/4 or 75%
YTD Comfort Segments: 1/1 or 100%
YTD First Miles: 2156/2656 or 81.17%
YTD Comfort Miles: 500/500 or 100%

About to sit in the back for the first time in over a year (no LAX or SFO last year). ATL-TUS, 7/18 for 1 as DM on a T fare.

Looks like I will be starting off 1/2 this year after shooting about 85% last year (CLT based--CLT<--->ATL was nearly 100%, ATL<-->XXX was about 60%)

First Time Flying as Silver on Delta

Jan 8th - ABE - DTW - CRJ so no upgrade available.
Jan 8th - DTW - LAS - Upgrade for me and wife to FC.

Jan 12th - LAS - DTW - Upgrade again but to EC+
Jan 12th - DTW - ABE - CRJ, no upgrade available.

None of these flights were close to full so that's why I suspect we got the upgrades even as SM.

3 for 3 to start the year. 2 of them on IRROP reschedules. All on V Fares

MSY-LAX, #1 for 5 at the Gate
LAX-ATL, #1 for 3 at the Gate with RUC - IRROP
ATL-MSY, upgraded enroute LAX-ATL - IRROP

I expect to miss on Tuesday MSY-LGA. 1 seat left, day after a holiday but I have a C+ aisle.
Last year was 85% on 71 eligible segments.

I should try for some tough upgrades. I recently won $70 off two scratch offs.

I have 10 segments remaining this month including 3 LAX-ATL and 1 ATL-LAX on V fares, always tough. I'm curious about my Feb 1st ATL-LAX on a V.

I can survive with my C+ aisles.
