RUC Waitlist Question
I called an had a RUC Applied to an upcoming segment. I know Delta.dumb switched to "systemwide upgrade requested" in the past, but does it show this posts C+ upgrade integration? Is there any way to tell if the RUC has been applied?

No the website currently doesn't show the correct info if you have a cert or mile upgrade requested.
You'd either have to call/tweet to confirm it is actually requested, or look at your itinerary and you should see a duplicate 'ghost' seatmap that says you may only view seats at this time.

YMMV. I applied a RUC for SFO-JFK and it changed from "NOT UPGRADE ELIGIBLE" to "UPGRADE REQUESTED", then following the C+ site rollout it changed to "NOT UPGRADE ELIGIBLE" (which apparently happened to most/all people with RUC/GUC requests pending).
At no point did I ever see a second/ghost seat map, which had me concerned based on everyone else's experiences, but on multiple queries to DL they said it was correctly applied/coded and it did in fact clear at T-5d.

Am really starting to loathe Delta.

The quality of phone agents continues to decline, and is getting to the point of the absurd. I've gotten to the point where I hang up at the first sign of incompetence or unhelpfulness.

The stupidity, ignorance and attitude of the DL reps is astounding. It has declined so fast it's almost as if they are sponsoring a race to the bottom. More than anything DL has done to the Skymiles program, this decline in service, as well as the matching decline in in-flight service and catering, has soured me on DL more than anything.

Within 24 hours when the upgrade list is viewable, your name should be at the very top. Call again if it is not.

Bump.
I just applied RUC's to PWM-ATL-MBJ (and back) for both my wife & I in Jan. Incredibly, the two MBJ segments had open inventory so we cleared immediately and I've been wait-listed (allegedly) for the PWM-ATL & ATL-PWM segments. On the website I do not have duplicate seat maps for the wait-listed segements which makes me nervous but I do see split reports here on FT about that. I went through this same process last year and it was opposite, the PWM legs cleared immediately and we were waitlisted for the MBJ. That time I did have the "ghost" or duplicate seat maps appearing the whole time and we cleared at the gates.
I just tweeted DLAssist to ask if they can confirm inventory on the other segments and if not to confirm I've been wait-listed appropriately.
I wish this process was clearer.

RUC Waitlist Question
I am flying LAS ATL in 5 hours as a diamond using a RUG. I am checked in, but not showing up on the upgrade list. I called and they said I showed up #1 on their list. I have been screwed by this before and I am expecting the same again.

There may be too many people on the upgrade list so you are seeing page 2. I have had this happen where I was showing 17th or something according to Delta, but I only saw 6 people on the list. After comparing my app to the list the GA had, I found out there was 106 people on the list, and the app defaults to page 2.

No, they officially screwed it up. I think all the FC seats were bought, but the 4th phone call sorted it out. I tried to SDC to an earlier flight with FC seats available, but they could only put me on stand by.
Still better than United, since Delta's planes occasionally leave on time.
